MILWAUKEE, March 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Travelers flying Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect will soon benefit from added seasonal service and flight frequency to key destinations.
On June 1, Milwaukee-based Midwest Airlines will launch nonstop seasonal service between Milwaukee and San Francisco. The once-daily service, which will continue through September 30, is in addition to existing year-round service between Milwaukee and San Francisco via Kansas City. Flights will feature the airline's popular Saver Service, which offers affordable fares to leisure destinations. Seating is arranged in a two-by-three configuration with generous legroom for extra passenger comfort. Onboard service includes complimentary soft drinks, packaged snacks and baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies, with the airline's buy-onboard Best Care Cuisine available for purchase. DigEplayer portable inflight entertainment systems will also be offered for rent.
Additionally, seven markets will benefit from the frequency additions: -- Milwaukee-Baltimore, increasing to 3 roundtrip flights each weekday -- Milwaukee-Denver, increasing to 4 roundtrip flights each weekday -- Milwaukee-Kansas City, increasing to 7 roundtrip flights each weekday -- Kansas City-Boston, increasing to 2 roundtrip flights daily -- Kansas City-Los Angeles, increasing to 3 roundtrip flights each weekday -- Kansas City-New York La Guardia, increasing to 4 roundtrip flights each weekday -- Kansas City-San Diego, increasing to 2 roundtrip flights daily
The frequency additions are effective June 1, except for the Milwaukee-Baltimore service which begins May 1. The increased frequency to Denver, Los Angeles and San Diego will be provided seasonally to address increased passenger demand during the summer months. In addition, service in some markets will be retimed to better accommodate the added frequency.
