New Wi-Fi TV Web Cast Today to Preview Marketing Campaign for Global Online TV Service
The Chairman of Wi-Fi TV Inc. (OTC: WTVN) was scheduled to go live on the www.Wi-FiTV.com web site this morning with a three part web cast previewing a marketing campaign for Wi-Fi TV’s global online TV service.
"Following a Beta web cast with our technical team yesterday, we have increased the available bandwidth to make sure today’s (Wednesday, March 22) web cast, which will feature the Chairman speaking directly to potential Wi-Fi TV subscribers on a global level, can be seen by as large a potential audience as possible," said Lisa Lawrence Pahl, a Wi-Fi TV Board member. Today’s web cast will also be archived for future viewing at www.Wi-FiTV.com’s home page where viewers will be able to click on each of the three parts.
"The three parts of the web cast will each be brief and concentrate on the following areas: 1) An overview of Wi-Fi TV, 2) A description of the Wi-Fi TV live online TV service, and 3) A preview of the Wi-Fi TV upcoming shopping cart for members only," stated Rachelle Kuzma, a Wi-Fi TV Board member and director of operations.
"This is a chance for Mr. Kanakaris, the Chairman of Wi-Fi TV, to share some of his passion for the Wi-Fi TV web site with the general public, and to preview a global marketing campaign intended to let people know about the web site Wi-FiTV.com," Ms. Kuzma added.
Alex Kanakaris has been Chairman of Wi-Fi TV Inc. since its founding in 1995, is author of Signs of Intelligent Life on the Internet (available on Amazon.com), and has been interviewed about the future of the Internet on TV and radio. Vinton Cerf, a founding father of the Internet and recipient of medals from two Presidents, is among those who have interviewed Mr. Kanakaris on television about the future of the Internet.
"We are joining the Wi-Fi TV team to support the vision of Wi-Fi TV and the vision of the Chairman, which included his delivery of the first movie online in December 1995 (the Perfect Gift) and innovations in the delivery of both online movies and books," stated Dennis Villaroman, an independent technical advisor based in Orange County, California.
"Cast Networks Inc. has employed developers in the United States, India and Spain to help create the technology for the next generation of Wi-Fi TV Inc. We look forward to viewing today’s web cast featuring Mr. Kanakaris," stated Keith Friedman, President of Cast Networks Inc., a Nevada corporation with offices in Florida.
