AirTran Airways Launches New Nonstop Service Between Rochester and Boston

ORLANDO, Fla., March 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today announced the airline's new nonstop daily service from Greater Rochester International Airport to Boston's Logan International Airport. The service will begin on July 6, 2006, and will operate on the airline's popular Boeing 717 aircraft.
AirTran Airways continues to expand its presence on the East Coast. Boston will be the sixth nonstop destination served by the airline from Rochester. With today's announcement, AirTran Airways now flies nonstop from Rochester to Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington (BWI), Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa.
Rochester will be the seventh nonstop destination served by the airline from Boston. With today's announcement, the airline now operates nonstop service from Boston to Akron/Canton, Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington (BWI), Chicago (Midway), Newport News/Williamsburg, Philadelphia and Rochester.
