McCall Outdoor Science School Comes to Nampa
By The Idaho Statesman, Boise
Apr. 1–Members of the McCall Outdoor Science School team will be in Nampa next week teaching a five-day schoolwide program focused on exploring the outdoors. The program’s purpose is to teach hands-on and inquiry science in a way that is fun for students while developing an appreciation of science and nature in the world around them.
The MOSS team is a collaborative effort between University of Idaho’s College of Natural Resources and College of Education, the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute and an AmeriCorps program granted through Serve Idaho.
