American Eagle to Begin Service Between New York-LaGuardia and Des Moines, Iowa

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop service between New York LaGuardia Airport and Des Moines International Airport, beginning June 15, 2006. American Eagle will operate one daily round-trip flight six days a week between the two cities, using 37-seat Embraer 135 regional jet aircraft.

"American Eagle is pleased to add another new Midwest destination to our existing New York service," said Peter Bowler, President of American Eagle. "Iowa travelers will have convenient access to New York, complementing American Eagle's existing service from Des Moines to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth."
