Apr. 4--City fire officials are investigating a fire inside a vacant house on Moss Street early Monday, they said.
A neighbor called 9-1-1 after seeing smoke and flames coming out of the second floor of 1043 Moss St. shortly after 2 a.m., according to officials.
The fire was of suspicious origin and contained to a second-floor bedroom, officials said. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
Firefighters had the flames under control within 15 minutes. No one was hurt.
Officials have not determined who owns the building.
