Global Resource Options Opens Sales and Project Management Office in Brockton, MA
Posted on: Monday, 10 April 2006, 18:00 CDT
Global Resource Options (GRO), national leader in sales of residential solar energy systems, has opened a sales and project management office in Brockton, Massachusetts, the company announced today. The office will serve the growing number of GRO customers in Massachusetts with professional sales, project installation, and ongoing maintenance of GRO solar systems. The office will also complete work in northeastern Connecticut.
Jeff Wolfe, CEO of Global Resource Options, said, "Massachusetts is an underserved market for solar electric and hot water systems, despite the high and growing demand in this state for residential solar. By placing staff on the ground in Massachusetts, GRO will bring its high level of expertise in residential and small commercial solar to the people and businesses of the Bay State. It is a move that makes sense for GRO, building on the excellent reputation of the company in current, proximate market areas."
The office will be managed by Dan Porrazzo. Porrazzo brings over twenty years of experience in residential and commercial buildings, including nearly ten years of photovoltaic experience. Porrazzo comes to GRO from Conservation Services Group, where he served for eight years as a project manager designing and constructing small to very large commercial solar systems.
GRO already has significant presence in Massachusetts, having completed high profile solar installations such as at Harvard Business School, the Cambridge City Hall annex, the Doyle Conservation Center in Leominster, and Berkshire Middle School.
Customers and developers can reach the Brockton office by calling GRO at 1-800-374-4494.
