Hwy. 101 in Mtn. View Reopens After Car Fire

Apr. 19–All lanes of southbound Highway 101 at Shoreline Boulevard in Mountain View are now open after crews battled a car fire this morning.
Four cars collided at about 7:53 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. One of them then caught fire, with flames shooting from its hood.
The road reopened at 8:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
