American Eagle Begins Service Between Monroe, La., And Dallas/Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add nonstop service between Monroe Regional Airport (Monroe, La.) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, beginning June 15, 2006. American Eagle will operate three daily round-trip flights between the two cities using 34-seat Saab 340 turboprop aircraft.

"American Eagle is excited to add service to another new destination in Louisiana from our Dallas/Fort Worth hub," said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. "In addition to new access to North Texas, travelers in Northeast Louisiana will have convenient connections to destinations throughout the country and the world on American and American Eagle."

With this new service to Monroe, American Eagle and American offer 41 daily departures from Louisiana cities, including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport and Lafayette.
