Injuries and Roadblocks Reported From Morning Rush

Apr. 28--The Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:56 a.m., reported it was working seven accidents on roads in Manatee and Sarasota counties, several of them with injuries and roadblocks.
The accidents:
Vehicle crash with roadblock on I-75 southbound near Fort Myers in Lee County. 7:12 a.m. Unknown injuries.
Vehicle crash in Sarasota County on Englewood Road at Old Englewood Road. 7:40 a.m. No injuries. No roadblock.
Vehicle crash with minor injuries in Bradenton on U.S. 301 at 51st Avenue East. 7:38 a.m. No roadblock.
Vehicle crash with unknown injuries or roadblock in Bradenton on Cortez Road at 14th Street West. 7:52 a.m.
Vehicle crash in Sarasota County on Myakka Drive one block south of River Road at U.S. 41 near Venice. No time for first call to highway patrol. No injuries. No roadblock.
Vehicle crash with injuries and roadblock in Manatee Colunty on Zipperer Road at East State Road 64. Traffic is blocked on State Road 64.
Vehicle crash in Bradenton in the 4000 bloci of 53rd Avenue West at 34th Street West. No time. No injuries. Unknown roadblock.
