Reminder - Memorial Plaque Dedication Scheduled on April 29 for Los Angeles Airport Police Officer Tommy Edward Scott

WHAT:

Plaque dedication ceremony for Los Angeles Airport Police Officer Tommy Edward Scott who was killed in the line of duty on April 29, 2005, during an incident with a suspect on Lincoln Boulevard adjacent to the airport perimeter. Officer Scott was the first Los Angeles Airport Police Officer killed in the line of duty in the 59-year history of Airport Police.

WHO:

 --  City of Los Angeles Councilman Bill Rosendahl (11th District) --  Los Angeles World Airports Deputy Executive Director of Airports and     Security, Paul Haney --  Los Angeles Airport Police Honor Guard --  Transportation Security Administration Mass Choir      

WHEN:

 Saturday, April 29, 2006 Ceremony begins at 10 a.m. Media to arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. for set up 

WHERE:

North side of Lincoln Boulevard between LaTijera and Sepulveda Boulevards adjacent to LAX north perimeter fence

MEDIA PARKING:

ALL media vehicles may park in designated area northbound Lincoln Boulevard -- enter from Sepulveda Boulevard
