China Grove Man Dies in Moped Wreck

May 12–A China Grove man died this morning after his moped overturned and crashed on U.S. 52 in southern Rowan County.

Michael Jason Brown, 27 , of China Grove, was traveling 45 mph north on U.S. 52 near Sides Road about 2 a.m. when his 2005 Kymco moped crashed, N.C. Highway Patrol Sgt. Don Hinson said.

Hinson said authorities do not know what caused the wreck.
