China Grove Man Dies in Moped Wreck

May 12--A China Grove man died this morning after his moped overturned and crashed on U.S. 52 in southern Rowan County.

Michael Jason Brown, 27 , of China Grove, was traveling 45 mph north on U.S. 52 near Sides Road about 2 a.m. when his 2005 Kymco moped crashed, N.C. Highway Patrol Sgt. Don Hinson said.

Hinson said authorities do not know what caused the wreck.
