LAS VEGAS, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) will be displaying their versatile new compact MSAT-G2 Mobile Satellite Radio during IWCE 2006 being held May 17 - 19, 2006 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
This new two-way radio was developed to address the increasing needs and demands of public safety and emergency response personnel, which include: interoperability with Land Mobile Radio systems; access to multiple agencies and talk groups; as well as GPS, which enables emergency management coordinators to know the exact location of their people. Orders for the MSAT-G2 radio have already exceeded $5.8 million.
Designed for use on the MSAT Network, the MSAT-G2 supports continent-wide group and private Push-to-Talk (PTT) communications. The MSAT-G2 also supports the origination and reception of telephone calls anywhere in the world. Additional features include GPS capability and flexible interconnectivity to a variety of third party interoperability interfaces, extending the reach of traditional Land Mobile Radio technology. Land Mobile and Maritime antenna options provide advanced satellite tracking capabilities, making sure first responders and emergency management personnel can communicate regardless of where they are located.
The MSAT-G2 Radio will be on display in both the New Product Showcase Spot #23 and MSV's Booth #1736. This versatile new radio is available through the MSV distributor network. Visit http://www.msvlp.com/ to find the distributor nearest you.
