CHICAGO, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — United Airlines offers the Best Economy/Coach Class in the world, according to the annual OAG Airline of the Year Awards recently held in London.

“We are thrilled to receive this prestigious recognition from business travelers the world over for Economy Plus, our unique economy class offering, which provides a more comfortable travel experience for our customers,” says Dennis Cary, senior vice president-Marketing, United Airlines. “This award reinforces the fact that Economy Plus and the additional legroom it offers is highly valued by frequent flyers.”

Economy Plus is available to United’s Mileage Plus(R) Elite members and customers who purchase qualifying United Economy(R) fares. Customers may also purchase an upgrade to Economy Plus seating if available when they check in for their flights online or at the airport.

This spacious travel experience is also available through the Economy Plus Access(SM) program — a year-long membership to Economy Plus seating which gives customers access to United’s preferred seats, subject to availability, when they book tickets. Three levels of “Access” are available, including a package with Red Carpet Club membership. See united.com/epa for more details.
