Orbit International's Power Units Segment Receives Additional Order in Excess of $625,000 for Oil and Gas Exploration

Orbit International Corp. (NASDAQ:ORBT), an electronics manufacturer and supplier, today announced that its Power Units Segment, Behlman Electronics, Inc. ("Behlman") has received a new order for over $625,000 for a power supply used in oil and gas exploration. Deliveries under this contract are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2006 and continue through the second quarter of 2007.

Behlman, which has been supplying this customer with this power supply since 1995, has shipped over 1200 units to date. In a previous announcement dated January 2005, the Company stated that based on conversations with its customer, orders for this unit were expected to accelerate due to increased demand for oil and gas. Since then, Behlman has booked over $1,500,000 of orders for this product and this current order was placed nearly six months ahead of expectations. In addition, thus far this year Behlman has received over $100,000 in contract awards for a similar unit from another oil services company. Furthermore, based on customer forecasts, the Company anticipates repeat orders through the year 2010.
