May 22--THE PROBLEM
Jerry Perlmutter contacted the Sun-Sentinel, concerned about a malfunctioning streetlight at the corner of Skipton Avenue and Chelmsford Street in Wellington. The streetlight is the only one on the block.
THE BACK STORY
For about eight months, the light has been out. On rare occasions, the light flickers and is dim. Perlmutter said he has called Florida Power & Light Co.
Karen Vissepo, FPL spokeswoman, said Friday the light is the responsibility of FPL and she created a ticket for the repair based on calls from Permutter and the Sun-Sentinel.
