May 23–NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — A firefighter was injured and a house was destroyed early Tuesday in a fire that may have started in an attic, a fire official said.

Officials did not indentify the firefighter, who suffered broken wrists when he fell over debris. He was treated at Harris Methodist H.E.B. hospital in Bedford and was released.

The fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. today in the 5100 block of Grove St. No one was home at the time, according to fire reports.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said. The house was valued at about $100,000, fire officials said.
