May 24--Nampa police released a composite drawing Tuesday as they continued to look for a heavyset, brown-haired man who robbed the U.S. Bank branch near Karcher Mall on Monday afternoon.

US Bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading the arrest and conviction of the robber, police said.

About 3:30 p.m. on Monday, a man passed a note to a teller demanding money, police said. The teller gave the man an unspecified amount of cash, and the man fled on foot westbound in the Karcher Mall parking lot. No weapon was displayed.

The robber is described as a white man with brown hair and an olive complexion, about 6 feet tall with a heavy or stocky build and a pot belly. He was about 45 to 50 years old and clean-shaven. He may have a bruised, blackened fingernail on his right thumb.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nampa police at 465-2257 at 468-5680. Or call Crime Stoppers at 343 COPS (2677).
