Civic Center Seeks Artists for Community Events

Jun. 6--The Nampa Civic Center is looking for artists to feature at several community events during 2006, including Snake River Dayz, Kiwanis Steak Fry, Community Fun Night, Nampa Festival of the Arts and Canyon County Festival of Trees.
The center is seeking a variety of artists from classic rock bands to fiddle ensembles and dance groups.
Interested artists should submit the following before June 23: work sample (video, CD or tape); photo; 30-word or less description of artists; bio on members; history of group including other event performance history, awards and other items of interest.
Submit to: Amber Berg, 311 3rd St. S., Nampa, ID 83651, or drop of at the Civic Center office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
