Car Crashes With Injuries and Roadblocks Reported in East Manatee

Jun. 6--Accidents in East Manatee are slowing traffic this morning, and a vehicle fire just reported on the interstate southbound near Nokomis won't help either, the Florida Highway Patrol reports at 9:03 a.m.

The incidents:

Vehicle crash causing a roadblock on State Road 70 just east of Tara Boulevard, Manatee County. First called to the highway patrol at 7:49 a.m. Vehicle have been moved off the roadway.

Vehicle crash on State Road 64 East at Upper Manatee River Road, Manatee County. 8:10 a.m. No injuries. No roadblock.

Vehicle crash with injuries at 6001 15th Street East, Info Wholesale Landscape Supply, near 60th Avenue Drive East, Manatee County. 8:42 a.m. Roadblock.

Vehicle fire on I-75 southbound near Nokomis, Sarasota County, at Mile Marker 205. No time reported.
