American Eagle to Begin Service Between New York LaGuardia and Jacksonville, Fla.

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, a founding member of the global oneworld(SM) Alliance, will add nonstop service between New York LaGuardia Airport and Jacksonville International Airport, beginning Sept. 6, 2006. American Eagle will operate one daily round-trip flight between the two cities, using 37-seat Embraer 135 regional jet aircraft.

"American Eagle is pleased to expand our presence in the New York market with this new service to Jacksonville," said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. "North Florida travelers will have additional access to Manhattan and the Northeast through Eagle's extensive East Coast network."

American and American Eagle currently serve 53 cities from the three New York airports. AA and Eagle offer service to Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, and Miami from Jacksonville.
