Jun. 12--TOKYO -- Vodafone K.K. said Monday it will add four markets to its international roaming service network on June 28, expanding the countries and regions where its existing third-generation mobile phones can be used to 158.

The new service areas are Iran, the islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe in the West Indies, and French Guiana in South America, Vodafone said.

In the 158 countries and regions, Vodafone will have business alliances with a total of 222 telecommunications operators for its roaming service.
