Piedmont Natural Gas Names Williams To Lead Transportation and Major Account Services

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piedmont Natural Gas today announced the hiring of Mr. Bill Williams, formerly General Manager -- Gas Supply and Sales for PSNC Energy, to the position of Managing Director -- Transportation and Major Account Services at Piedmont. Mr. Williams, who will report directly to Mr. Frank Yoho, Piedmont's Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, will be responsible for the Company's natural gas transportation planning and administration, large customer account services and for the municipal customers on Piedmont's system. Mr. Williams will assume his new role at Piedmont effective June 26.

Williams will be assuming responsibilities previously held by Ken Valentine and George Baldwin at Piedmont Natural Gas who were promoted earlier this week to new positions within the Company as part of its previously announced Management restructuring effort.
