Police Seek 2 Men Who Robbed Woman

Jun. 20–Central Berks Regional police said Monday that they are looking for two men who robbed a 31-year-old Reading woman at gunpoint in Lower Alsace Township.

Police said the woman was walking on Angora Road near Bingaman Road on Sunday about 6:30 p.m. when two men threatened her with a semiautomatic gun and took an unknown amount money.

The woman, whose name police did not release, was not injured.

Police said one of the robbers was in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a mustache and short brown hair. The second man was in his early-30s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build and a long brown ponytail. Both were described as Latino.

Police said the men drove away in a green sedan.
