HOUSTON, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- CapRock Communications, a leading provider of global satellite communication services, has chosen Aldo Rodriguez as its vice president of energy market sales. In this critical role, Rodriguez will oversee CapRock's global sales organization for the international oil and gas market.
The vice president of energy market sales is a new position at CapRock and part of a strategy to tailor the sales efforts of the company toward the unique requirements of different vertical markets. "CapRock was founded as a communications services company to the oil and gas industry over twenty-five years ago, but over the past decade we have expanded significantly to include a number of other markets that face similar remote communications challenges, including construction, maritime, mining and government," said president and COO Errol Olivier. "While customers in all of these markets operate in harsh and remote locations, they each have their own unique challenges. By aligning our sales strategy to the specific requirements of each market, we can provide better solutions for our customers on a global basis."
Rodriguez joins CapRock with nearly twenty years of experience managing sales, operations and marketing functions and brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the energy sector. His experience includes more than fourteen years with Baker Hughes and most recently with the Wildcat Services division of National Oilwell Varco, where he served as the manager of sales and operations.
"Aldo's extensive sales background in the oil and gas market, coupled with his operational experience around the globe make him an excellent fit for this key position," continued Olivier. "We welcome Aldo as a new member of the CapRock team and are excited to have him onboard."
