Nascent Wine Co. (OTCBB: NCTW), announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to exclusively distribute Ferrarelle brand beverages in Mexico.
"The Mexican water market is the second largest in the world by volume at more than $8 billion U.S. dollars per year with an incredible annual growth of 30% per year," said Jorge Olson, managing partner of Liquid Brands Management Inc., a beverage consulting firm; he continued by saying that "one of the best areas of expansion in Mexico is in bottled water and mineral water for convenience stores and food service where there is a great demand but not much variety or distribution."
Victor Petrone, president of Nascent Wine Co., stated, "The market for beverages in Mexico is fertile, Ferrarelle is prestigious and Italy's No. 1 water and we are honored to add this world-class brand to our company profile." Petrone continued, "Expanding our product base gives our company the versatility it needs to become a leader in the Mexican food distribution market. Adding quality products such as Ferrarelle only substantiates this model."
