Mesa Air Group, Inc. Reports June 2006 Traffic With New Hawaii Division, Go!

PHOENIX, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group, Inc. today reported its preliminary traffic figures for June 2006.

"June weather was particularly harsh this year as severe thunderstorms and the resulting air traffic control disruptions impacted our Midwestern and East Coast operations," said Mesa Air Group Chairman & CEO Jonathan Ornstein. Mesa launched their independent Hawaii division named go! on June 9th. For the period of June 9 through 30, go! had an overall completion factor of 100%. go!'s on time arrival rate for June was 88.9%. During its 22 days of operation in June, go! produced a load factor of 82.5%.

Mesa currently operates 185 aircraft with over 1,100 daily system departures to 175 cities, 46 states, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. Mesa operates as America West Express, Delta Connection, US Airways Express and United Express under contractual agreement with America West, Delta Air Lines, US Airways and United Airlines, respectively, and independently as Mesa Airlines. Effective June 9, 2006 Mesa launched interisland Hawaiian service as go! This new operation links Honolulu to the neighbor island airports of Hilo, Kahului, Kona, and Lihue. The Company, founded by Larry and Janie Risley in New Mexico in 1982, has approximately 5,000 employees. Mesa is a member of the Regional Airline Association and Regional Aviation Partners.
