Spirit Airlines Reports June 2006 Traffic

Spirit Airlines reports June 2006 traffic. Spirit carried 418,310 passengers, which was 1.4% more than June 2005. Spirit achieved an 82.1% load factor, which was .5% lower than last June. Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) reached 372,486,000 and Available Seat Miles (ASMs) reached 453,705,000.

“I’m quite pleased with our June results,” said Ben Baldanza, president and chief executive officer of Spirit Airlines. “This June we carried more passengers on fewer available seat miles which exemplifies Spirit’s popularity. The summer continues to book well and we look forward to August when we open our 30th city, Boston.”
