Republic Airways Reports a 59% Increase in June 2006 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2006. The company generated 624 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 59.4% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 779 million, a 45.0% increase. Block hours were 47,295 in June 2006, a 20.3% increase over June 2005. Load factor was 80.1% versus 72.9% in June 2005. A total of 1,201,550 passengers were carried during the month, a 49.5% increase over the same month last year. Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America.
