Intelsat General Corporation Signs Long-Term Agreement to Support EADS Space Services and ND SatCom Partnership

Intelsat General Corporation (IGC), a leading provider of broadband satellite solutions to the commercial and government markets, today announced that MilSat Services GmbH, a company set up by EADS Space Services and ND SatCom, signed a 10-year contract for leased satellite services. MilSat Services GmbH, a Bremen, Germany based company, was established to provide the satellite communication system for the German Armed Forces' SatcomBw Step 2 program.
Under the 10-year agreement, Intelsat General Corporation will supply C- and Ku-band leased services over several Intelsat satellites providing coverage ranging from Eastern Asia to the Americas.
