Mvi Posts Record Results and Claims Market No.1 Spot for Food Producers and Packagers

MIAMI, July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- mvi technology, leading provider of real-time performance management (RPM) solutions to the food and beverage sector, and market number-one for customer return-on-investment (ROI), today announced record performances for its fourth quarter and year-end, to March 2006.
Following the release of two new modules this year and the launch of a new business partner accreditation program, sales of mvi's flagship product, mvi-eventsengine, increased 104 per cent year-on-year, producing an impressive three-year CAGR of 88 per cent.
Highlights this year include several multi-plant sales, including the industry's largest ever single order for RPM packaged software - a $1M-plus software contract from international foods producer, Greencore - as well as an eight-plant sale to the $1.4BN Premier Foods Corporation. Whilst the CEO of Marsan Foods - voted one of Canada's Top 50 best managed companies - stated that the mvi solution had made a direct impact on performance and 'played a significant role in improving the business'.
A new Enterprise Business Intelligence module allows COOs a real-time view of multi-plant enterprises from their desktops, while the release of the eventsengine 'Improve' module has unleashed the power of the Toyota production system principles of Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma, for food plant shopfloor workers and their managers, in a simple action framework. The first implementation of 'Improve' has allowed a Wisconsin-based, single-plant food producer with revenues of under $100M, to identify annual improvement opportunities of $1M (more than one percent of total revenues - straight to the bottom line).
"This year has been extremely successful for mvi and has widened the gap between us and other RPM vendors. Being the number-one provider of real-time performance software and services in food and beverage creates a tough act to follow and that is our intention," said Mark Sutcliffe, CEO of mvi technology. "Our team is the best in the industry and I believe we are undisputed thought-leaders, offering a real competitive edge through direct ROI for our customers. It's a great place to be and we work with some of the most interesting and innovative food companies in the world today."
The mvi business partner accreditation program is continuing to roll out over the next 12 months.
