Eos Airlines Announces Second Daily NY-London Flight; Participating in All Global Distribution Systems and ARC/BSP

With its popularity among business travelers continuing to climb, including June load factors at 72%, Eos Airlines today announced the schedule for its second daily flight between New York and London. The new service will commence on September 8th, 2006, with flights departing twice daily, six days per week (Sunday through Friday), from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and London's Stansted Airport. On Saturdays, Eos will operate one flight daily from each airport.
Eos' new Sunday-Friday schedule offers flights outbound from New York at 7:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST, arriving in London the next morning at 7:40 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. GMT, respectively. Flights from London will depart at 10:40 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday, arriving in New York at 1:25 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. On Saturdays, Eos will operate flights outbound from New York at 7:15 p.m. and outbound from London at 10:40 a.m..
Eos Airlines (E0/646), the all premium class airline which launched service between New York and London in October 2005, also announced an enhanced level of participation across all major Global Distribution Systems (GDS's). Eos, which has joined the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) and IATA's Billing and Settlement Plan in the United Kingdom (BSP UK) as a participating carrier, is available for electronic ticketing immediately across Sabre, Galileo, and Apollo - with Amadeus and Worldspan to follow in August. In addition to electronic ticketing, enhanced GDS connectivity will allow travel agencies to have real-time, direct access to Eos flight inventory, with ARC and BSP UK settlement.
