Republic Airways Reports a 57% Increase in July 2006 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for July 2006. The company generated 649 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 57.0% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 830 million, a 45.6% increase. Block hours were 49,834 in July 2006, a 20.1% increase over July 2005. Load factor was 78.1% versus 72.4% in July 2005. A total of 1,228,250 passengers were carried during the month, a 44.1% increase over the same month last year. Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America.
