Spirit Airlines reports July 2006 traffic. Spirit carried 472,726 passengers, which was -0.9% less than July 2005. Spirit achieved an 82.9% load factor, which was -1.4% lower than last July. Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) reached 423,563,000 and Available Seat Miles (ASMs) reached 511,043,000.

“We are pleased that our focus on Revenue per Available Seat Mile versus load factor continues to be a success,” said Ben Baldanza, president and chief executive officer of Spirit Airlines. “In a few short weeks, our transition to an all new Airbus fleet will be complete giving Spirit the youngest fleet of Airbus aircraft in the Americas. Customers can depend on Spirit for sweet, new planes, low fares, and terrific destinations like Boston coming August 15th.”
