American Airlines Federal Credit Union Celebrates New Branch Opening in Hurst, Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines Federal Credit Union (AA Credit Union) proudly announces the grand opening of its newest branch facility located in Hurst, Texas. This is the newest of two branches in the "Mid-Cities." John Tippets, AA Credit Union's President and CEO, presided over a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by a special guest, United States Congressman Kenny Marchant, as well as member-owners, employees and the media.

"We are delighted to provide another full-service branch to our member- owners living in the Mid-Cities. This branch provides an added level of convenience to the day-to-day lives of our busy members who live and work in this area," said Tippets.

"Local members who have visited the branch have expressed their gratitude and excitement," added Teresa Meyers, Hurst Branch Manager, AA Credit Union. "We are celebrating our 70th anniversary this year and we are eager to help members and their families with all of their financial needs -- whether it's purchasing a new vehicle, financing a home, or saving for a college education."

U.S. Rep. Marchant attended the event to offer his support of the branch, located in his 24th district of Texas. Congressman Marchant has been extremely proactive in the 109th Session of Congress in support of issues of concern to the AA Credit Union. Marchant signed as a co-sponsor of the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act of 2005 (CURIA) and consistently supports credit unions' federal income tax exemption.
