A Delta Airlines airplane, stopping to refuel on a flight from San Francisco to Atlanta, got stuck in the mud on the taxi-way of the Jackson, Miss., airport.

No passengers were injured Thursday evening when the 767-300 got stuck in the mud while taxiing at Jackson-Evers International Airport, WJTV-TV, Jackson, Miss., reported Friday. The flight had stopped to refuel because of delays at Atlanta due to weather.

The plane’s 278 passengers were taken into the airport where they were provided with free meals.

Delta was sending another aircraft to carry the passengers the rest of the way to Atlanta.
