Travel Advisory for Eos Guests Flying Between London and New York

PURCHASE, N.Y., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Eos Airlines flights from London's Stansted Airport to New York's JFK airport, and outbound from JFK to Stansted, are operating as scheduled.
Eos has taken a number of steps to reduce departure delays and to ensure that each of its 48 guests per plane continue to receive security and service during the current alert period:
* A personal escort will greet each arriving guest at Stansted or JFK airport to assist with any necessary baggage repacking, and to escort the guest individually through fast-track security. * Onboard, Eos will provide guests with certain items that they are no longer permitted to carry-on. These include: saline solution, contact lens holders, toothpaste with toothbrush, hypo-allergenic make-up kit, moisturizer, and other items.
Due to the ongoing security alert affecting UK and US airports, guests flying from London/Stansted are advised that carry-on bags will not be permitted aboard the aircraft, with carry-on items limited to the following, which must be placed in clear plastic bags supplied to guests prior to boarding:
* Pocket size wallets and pocket size purses plus contents (for example money, credit cards, identity cards etc. (not handbags). * Travel documents essential for the journey (for example, passports and travel tickets). * Prescription medicines and medical items sufficient and essential for the flight (e.g. diabetic kit), except in liquid form unless verified as authentic. * Spectacles and sunglasses, without cases. * Contact lens holders, without bottles of solution. * For those traveling with an infant: baby food, milk (the contents of each bottle must be tasted by the accompanying passenger) and sanitary items sufficient and essential for the flight (nappies, wipes, creams and nappy disposal bags). * Female sanitary items sufficient and essential for the flight, if unboxed (eg tampons, pads, towels and wipes). * Tissues (unboxed) and/or handkerchief. * Keys (but no electrical key fobs).
Limited carry-on luggage will be permitted for guests flying from New York/JFK to London/Stansted; however, only specified liquids will be allowed on board.
