Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded a $2.7 Million Contract for High Power Amplifiers

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., has received a $2.7 million contract for broadband, solid state, high power RF microwave amplifier systems from an international customer. The contract includes options for additional systems with a potential value of $0.6 million resulting in a total contract value of up to $3.3 million.
The amplifier systems, which include the latest solid state switching and transistor technology and provide for broad frequency coverage, will be utilized as part of a communications jamming system for an international end user.
In commenting on this contract award, Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "Our technology leadership position, specifically in communications jamming technology, in the high power, broadband amplifier area has enabled us to participate in various major electronic warfare application programs.
