Mayor Villaraigosa to Dedicate LAX Center for Recruiting and Training Federal Security Screeners, Airport Police, Other Airport Workers

WHAT:
Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa and officials of Los Angeles World Airports and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration will cut the ribbon to officially open a 2,000-square-foot, two-story LAX Recruitment & Training Center near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where hiring, testing and training of TSA security screeners, Los Angeles Airport Police officers, and other airport workers are conducted. The Mayor will be guided through the facility where TSA and Airport Police will demonstrate activities in the center.
