'Orange' You in Need of a Vacation? AirTran Airways Launches 72-Hour Sale to All Florida Destinations

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today launched a sale for flights to all of the airline's Florida destinations with fares starting as low as $59* each way.

For 72 hours, beginning today, customers can take advantage of these sale fares for travel to and from AirTran Airways' nine Florida destinations: Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Myers, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Pensacola/Gulf Coast, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa and West Palm Beach. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at airtran.com or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1- 800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

"Fall is just around the corner, but you can still find warm weather and sandy beaches at all nine of our Florida destinations," said Matthew Klein, director of pricing and revenue management. "With sale fares this attractive, easy online booking on airtran.com and affordable business class on every flight, AirTran Airways is giving our customers great fares to take advantage of some beautiful Florida weather."

These special fares are available for purchase through August 24, 2006, and are good for travel through October 19, 2006. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.
