Dynegy CEO To Present at Lehman Brothers CEO Energy/Power Conference

Bruce A. Williamson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN), will participate in the Lehman Brothers CEO Energy/Power Conference in New York City. Williamson's presentation will be held at 10:25 a.m. ET/9:25 a.m. CT on Wednesday, September 6, 2006.
A web cast of Williamson's presentation will be available live on the "News & Financials" section of Dynegy's web site at www.dynegy.com. An audio replay will be available beginning approximately three hours after the web cast and will remain accessible through September 20, 2006.
