SEPTA Broad Street Line 'Sports Express' Service Set for the Philadelphia Eagles-Pittsburgh Steelers Pre-Season Game

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- SEPTA Broad Street Line "Sports Express" service is set for the Philadelphia Eagles pre-season game against the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 25 at Lincoln Financial Field.

SEPTA Broad Street Line Sports Express trains will leave Fern Rock Transportation Center every ten minutes from 6:35 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. en route to Pattison Station and Lincoln Financial Field.

Broad Street Line Sports Express trains leave from Fern Rock Transportation Center and stop only at Olney Transportation Center, Erie, Girard, Race-Vine, City Hall and Walnut-Locust Stations en route to Pattison Station and the Sports Complex. The express trip from City Hall to the Sports Complex takes only about eight minutes. Local and express Broad Street Line trains are also in service throughout the day.

In addition, SEPTA will open the lower level platform at Pattison Station before and after the game allowing for easier travel into and out of the station. After the game fans will find trains standing by to provide local and express service back to Fern Rock.
