Los Cabos and La Paz Airports Resume Operations After Hurricane John

GUADALAJARA, Mexico, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: GAP) ("the Company" or "GAP") announced yesterday that the Los Cabos and La Paz Airports did not sustain any mayor damage following Hurricane John, which struck the southern coast of Baja California on Friday.

Los Cabos International Airport closed on Friday at 10:00 a.m. and resumed operations on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Normal operating hours for this airport are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. La Paz International Airport closed operations on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and re-initiated operations on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Normal operating hours for this airport are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The total number of cancelled flights at both of these airports reached 151, most of which were due to adverse weather conditions as a result of strong winds in the surrounding areas. Upon opening, however, flights at these airports resumed normal operations.
