'Satellite Operator of the Year: Growth and Profits 2006' Awarded To SES GLOBAL

SES GLOBAL (Paris:SESG) (LuxX:SESG) has been awarded "Satellite Operator of the Year: Growth and Profits 2006" by Euroconsult, a leading Paris-based consultancy and research organisation specialising in broadcasting and space communication.

The award recognises SES GLOBAL's industry-leading track record in revenues and profit growth in 2005 and in the period 2001-2005. Specifically, the jury based its findings on the increase in revenues, the development of EBITDA and EBIT, as well as on the evolution of the net profit margin.

From 2001 to 2005, SES GLOBAL's revenues increased from EUR 978 million to EUR 1,258 million. In 2005, SES GLOBAL's net income margin was 30.4%.
