Chicago Flight Delayed By Passenger’s Bag
September 6, 2006
An American Eagle flight was delayed for three hours at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after a report of a suspicious bag.
An airline spokeswoman told the Chicago Tribune that a passenger on Flight No. 4221 became unruly Tuesday morning when airline personnel tried to search his bag after it started vibrating.
It turned out to be a battery-operated razor, the newspaper said.
The airline said the flight, which was supposed to depart for Cleveland at 8:41 a.m., took off from O’Hare at 11:40 a.m.
The newspaper said the male passenger and his travel companion were put onto another flight to Cleveland.
