TrendSetter Solar Products Focuses on Funds Provided By a New California Alternate Energy Law

TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TSSP) today announced that the California Solar Initiative (CSI), passed August 24th, 2006 by the California Public Utilities Commission, spells an opportunity for TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. Of the $3.2 billion funding approved, CSI has set aside $100 million which is dedicated to Solar thermal renewable energy solutions.

Dirk Atkinson, CEO of Trendsetter, said, "The San Diego Regional Energy Office (SDREO) is charged with developing a pilot program for the implementation and compliance of Solar thermal renewable energy systems that will be eligible for the funds set aside by the CSI. He further noted, "TrendSetter is scheduled to participate in two events in the 2nd Annual Solar Energy Week, launched by the non-profit SDREO in San Diego from September 24-30, 2006. The first, Family Solar Energy Day, will be held Sunday, September 24, 2006, which will offer the general public an opportunity to learn more about Solar. The second, the San Diego Solar Energy Conference, Wednesday, September 27, 2006, is also an all-day event that will explore the ever-changing landscape of solar legislation.
