Solar EnerTech Corp. Update on SunRoom Showcase Facility at Shanghai Manufacturing Plant

Solar EnerTech Corp. (OTCBB: SOEN) (the Company) announces the engagement of Monsen Solutions as architects of its solar powered rooftop "SunRoom" located above the Company's Shanghai-based manufacturing facility.

The SunRoom will feature an adjustable motion control sun tracking system, all-glass exterior for maximum visibility, and all solar-powered electronics and fully functioning display appliances throughout. The SunRoom also serves as a source of integrated lighting providing the lower production floor with free distributed lighting via fiber optic trunks streaming natural daylight into the building through walls, insulation, and other structural impediments.

Monsen Solutions was founded in 1999 and is part of Monsen Group AB headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden with offices in Beijing and London. Over the past 7 years the company has offered services and solutions to the construction, architectural and real estate industries. Monsen Solutions specializes in the provision of 3D Imagery, real time visualization and software solutions to meet the specific design needs of its clients. The company opened its offices in Beijing last year offering a local sales office as well as image production capability, software engineering and design divisions. Mr. Jonathan Watkins, Managing Director and principle designer, will be in charge of Solar EnerTech's project.

The SunRoom will play an active role in the testing and rapid development of future solar powered products planned for eventual manufacture and sale either directly or under license by the Company. Additionally, the facility will provide an educational and marketing component to assist in providing consumers with the ability to experience practical applications of solar energy as it pertains to daily life. Management strongly believes that an investment in time and money towards research and development of new technologies as well as in education of its target consumer base will significantly assist the overall marketing efforts of the Company towards positioning its corporate brand identity as an innovative, growth oriented leader in the Solar manufacturing marketplace.
