United Airlines' Hemispheres Wins 'Best Inflight Magazine' at World Airline Entertainment Association 18th Annual Avion Awards

CHICAGO, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Airlines' Hemispheres magazine was named the world's best when it received the "Best Inflight Magazine" Avion Award from the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA).
The Avion Awards are given to members of the global airline industry who have best demonstrated excellence in inflight entertainment, including audio, video and print.

United Airlines also won the Avion Award for "Best Overall Inflight Entertainment" in 2004, 2001 and 2000.
The 2006 winners were announced at the WAEA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Miami, Fla. The black-tie ceremony capped the week-long, international marketplace for passenger airlines and their inflight entertainment and communications suppliers.
