Verizon Wireless Opens New 'Store-Within-A-Store' at BJ's Wholesale Club in Flemington

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless has expanded its retail presence with the addition of a new store in BJ's Wholesale Club located at 186 Route 31 South in Flemington, NJ. The 'store-within-a-store" concept provides BJ's customers with easy access to the latest wireless phones and accessories, plus a variety of service plans on the nation's most reliable wireless network.
The new Verizon Wireless store in BJ's Wholesale Club in Flemington is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"Today's busy lifestyles require all of us to combine errands and shopping trips whenever possible," said Charles Hand, Verizon Wireless New York Metro region president. "By placing Verizon Wireless employees in BJ's locations, customers get added convenience and assistance from the best wireless salespeople in the industry."
BJ's members will be able to take advantage of the same convenient services available at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and can expect the same high-quality products and services they would receive in a standalone Verizon Wireless Communications Store. Current customer favorites include the new Chocolate phone, a Verizon Wireless exclusive; VZ Navigator, which provides audible turn-by-turn directions throughout the U.S.; and V CAST Music which allows customers to download full songs directly to their V CAST- capable wireless phones and Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP-based PCs."
Demand for Verizon Wireless services continued during the second quarter of 2006 as the company added 1.8 million net new customers. Verizon Wireless now serves 54.8 million customers nationwide.
Verizon Wireless invested $2 billion to enhance its New York Metro area network and more than $30 billion across the nation in the past six years to stay ahead of the growing demand for the company's voice and data services, including high-speed wireless Internet connections with Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess.
The Flemington kiosk is the company's third retail location to open in Hunterdon County and one of 133 Verizon Wireless retail locations in the New York Metro area.
